Our History

Quito roots values, gastronomical cultures and costumes; that they threaten in time.

Therefore a visionary man fulfills the dream of creating a place where he transfers Colonial Quito to us with its churches, streets, offering a warm atmosphere and specially enjoying a national gastronomy with traditional manjares and also offering an international gastronomy for the foreign tourist who visits our country and who does not dare to taste our gastronomical culture.

Rincón La Ronda opens its doors to the National and international tourist service on May 11th 1982, located in Bello Horizonte street E 845 and Diego de Almagro (corner). It is not only a restaurant, but also the achievement of a longing and really hard worked dream in these 26 years of compromise with Quito’s and the whole world society.

Actually, Rincón la Ronda has a specialized technical human equipment in the culinary art and counts with the necessary infrastructure to attend in its halls and different environments, getting to a capacity up to 500 people and for an external service (catering) up to 5000 people.

In these 26 years of arduous work in the hotel´s world Rincón la Ronda has received very outstanding recognitions.
